Fast credit, full transparency. Nothing hidden.

TrueLend is a digital-first short-term lender for all of South Africa. Every rand of interest and every fee is shown to you upfront, before you ever apply.

We are not yet lending.

TrueLend (Pty) Ltd is completing its National Credit Regulator registration. You can create an account and see exactly how the site works, but no real loan will be issued until registration is confirmed.

Based on the National Credit Act’s short-term credit agreement caps: interest up to 5%/month on a first loan or 3%/month on a repeat loan, an initiation fee capped at the lowest of R165 + 10% of the amount over R1,000 (max R1,050), or 15% of the loan amount, and a service fee capped at R60/month, pro-rated for the calendar month the loan starts in (so it's usually less than R60 for a loan this short).

Why TrueLend

Built to be checkable, not just trusted

Most of what makes a lender trustworthy isn’t a promise. It’s a rule you can verify for yourself.

Priced by law, not by us

Every fee you’ll ever see is capped by the National Credit Act. The calculator above calls the same server-side code a real application would.

Full transparency, always

Once you accept a loan’s terms, the total cost stays visible on your account for the life of the loan, with no surprise charges added later.

Digital-first, run by its own builder

The application, decisioning and repayment flow are built and maintained in-house, not outsourced to a template lender.
